Dear Joseph
Legs
Today I consumed:
A small banana,
6 oz of nonfat yogurt that contained 12 grams of sugar,
1 oz of dry roasted planters peanuts,
6 oz of oriental noodle soup,
a steelhead sushi roll,
a small romaine salad with raw chopped broccoli,
10 oz steak.
I drank about 10 fl oz of gatorade
10 oz of water
8 oz of rice milk.
Exercise:
I started off with a 3 mile trail run at HillTop
Then I spent 30 min at the gym, that consisted of;
3 sets of 10 reps at 5 lbs of horizontal leg curls
3 sets of 10 reps at 25 lbs of seated leg curls
3 sets of 10 reps at 95 lbs of hip ad/abduction
100 consecutive sit-ups on the stability ball
Anorexia is for fat people
Tonight I cooked and ate a steak on my own for the first time ever.
While I was cooking it,
I texted Adam to tell him that I weighed myself at the gym
and I am 7 lbs heaver than when I stepped on the scale a couple months ago.
I told him that I feel like a fatty
and to sit down and eat a steak tonight
was going against every anorexic thought I had.
He replied with,
"Anorexia is for fat people"
I told him him I am doing what ever it takes to change my body,
and with that in mind,
I took my first bite of the steak.
Its been years since I have consumed one...
and I have to say it was very satisfying.
Kind of like a great orgasm.
I just wanted to sit there and relic in the after glow
and it left me wanting it again.

For The Record
I consumed:
A turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato a slice of cheese and mayo
1 oz of dry roasted planters peanuts,
a hand full of fresh asparagus
half a pound of fresh king salmon.
I drank about 10 fl oz of Gatorade
about 20 oz of water
and 8 oz of rice milk.
Exercise:
I spent 45 min at the gym. That consisted of;
1.5 mile warm up on the elliptical machine
three sets of 10 reps of
leg lifts
10 lbs presses, curls and flies on the stability ball
along with 70 crunches with 10 lbs arm extensions on the stability ball as well.
Then I went over and hiked/jogged up Flattop Mountain. One way it is a 1.5-mile (2.4-km) trail, with an elevation gain of 1280 feet.
Normally I would have brought my camera to record my climb. But I purposely left it behind...even my phone.
For once I turned off my multimedia recording to be alone with my mind.
"I gotta find peace of mind"
...and I did.
It was so beautiful up there. On my way down, I got a huge burst of energy while running, it felt fantastic! I will be doing that trail several days a week, so I'm bound to capture it at some point. Stay tuned!
